Anti Slavery Supporters

Dear friends

Please help us reach 50,000 signatures by Saturday to stop human trafficking!

We're delivering our trafficking petition with 38 Degrees, the Independent on Sunday and ECPAT UK to Downing Street this Saturday (19 March) to give the Government a last push to sign up to a new EU Trafficking Directive that will make sure countries in Europe work together to stop trafficking, and that victims are properly cared for.

With your help we've managed to gather more than 43,000 signatures which is a fantastic result – thanks a million for your support!
We're aiming to reach 50,000 signatures by Saturday in order to call on the Government to make the right decision. It really is our last chance to convince them, so if you haven't signed yet please do it now: http://www.38degrees.org.uk/page/s/stop-human-trafficking.
We'll be tweeting on Saturday morning with updates from the petition delivery so please follow us @Anti_Slavery and use #trafficking when tweeting about it.
You may have seen the news yesterday that a woman in London was convicted for keeping a Tanzanian women in domestic slavery. Even more need for the UK to act now to stop this happening! Watch Anti-Slavery International's Director on BBC News here.
Wish us luck on Saturday!
