Because of generous supporters like you, we've been able to: Respond to humanitarian crises in Haiti, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan and Sudan Ramp up the capacity of local media in 27 countries to effectively cover the environment and climate change Get thousands of women’s voices on the air and in the news, from Afghanistan to Yemen Harness mobile technology for the collection and delivery of local information We've seen the vital role media can play in improving lives this year, and we've seen our supporters make a direct impact on the lives of hundreds of thousands. It was because of donors like you that we were able to respond so quickly in Haiti. Our donor community helped us leverage funds from institutional donors to respond to the humanitarian information needs post-earthquake and during the ongoing Cholera crisis in Haiti.
