PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION RESULTS FOR THE 24th NOVEMBER,2011

The 2011 Presidential election in The Gambia ended on Friday afternoon. His Excellency the incumbent Yahya AJJ Jammeh under the APRC, Hon Hamat N.K Bah of the United Front and Ousainou A.N.M Darboe UDP.

Yahya AJJ Jammeh emerges as the winner of the November polls with a total votes of  114,177 representing 72 percent of the total number of votes cast but woefully failed to meet the 92 percent target. Below is the full election results. Meanwhile, UDP Ousainou ANM Darboe reject the polls.
